How do we find clarity and learn to focus on what’s important?
Life can be so convoluted at times. No matter how much you try to compartmentalize things, there always tends to be some “spillage.”
The reality is, the more you try to balance, the more you have a chance of setting up conflicts.
It’s easy for us men to get carried away with work. I know I tend to go overboard at times. Never the less, there we are, putting pen to paper and hitting the streets in search our next shot.
But what is it all for?
The irony of our hustle is the fact that we keep it separate from the things we want to come about from it. If you’re working so hard to have more time with family, what if you just let family bleed into work?
You see… Maybe balance isn’t the answer. What if the answer is blend?
When I say blend I mean inclusiveness. Bring your family into the creation stage of your ideas. Build the life of your dreams together. Instead of trying to build the two, simply try and increase the ability to do both.
It’s a lot, I know. But trust me, there are some fundamental ways to do this.
