True character and integrity usually comes out in times of crisis.
A lot of relationships and commitments begin from a place of comfort or abundance. We take on the unity, knowing that we are better together than when we’re apart.
Though intentions are pure, hard times are sure to spoil the fun and invade on the good times. When that happens, the unity truly gets tested.
To be clear, a crisis could be a range of things from the loss of a job to the sickness of a sibling, or family member. Of course, we hope and pray none of us have to deal with such situations, but the reality is we never know.
All we can do is do our best to show up for our partner, fill in where we can, step back where we need to, and trust your partner above anything else.
