If the Pandemic has taught us anything, it’s that we must always be ready to pivot and adjust. It doesn’t have to be pretty. You just have to make the call and execute. You also have to do it quickly.
Teamwork and communication are two things that really impact your ability to handle these stressful occurrences. After all, if your communication is on point, and the chemistry is good, is it really a stressful situation?
The reality is you have to set these tools up before the crisis pops up. If you don’t put in the work and time to set up a strong foundation, what will you strap yourself to when the wind really starts to pick up?
At the end of the day, you don’t rise to the occasion. You fall to the level of your preparedness.
Our guest today knows about building a strong team and adjusting as the wind blows. Him and his wife were on the up and up with their businesses when Covid-19 shut everything down.
Suddenly, Wine & Design went virtual while Marissa Cunningham trained virtually from the studio. Was the pandemic a set back? Of course it was. Did the Cunningham’s take a hit? Of course they did.
Did they skip a beat? Not a single one.
Join us as George Cowart, Charles Russ and I sit down with artist himself Timothy Cunningham. As the owner of Wine & Design in Greenville, SC, he was gracious enough to bring us into his world and have us paint throughout the episode.
