Our title or position is not who we are— that’s what we do. We all go through phases where we feel like we should act or speak a certain way to avoid offending someone. But living in a period when opinions matter more than authenticity and trends try to shape our identity is a specially crucial time to stay true to ourselves.
When we own our identity, we are empowered to do great things. We know who we are and what we stand for. We don’t shy away from our quirks and flaws, rather, we embrace them because they make us unique. We become a force to be reckoned with and we don’t need the approval of others to feel good about ourselves.
But showing up our true selves is never easy. If it is, then everybody will be doing it. So, how do we go about owning our identity?
This week, I got to sit down with business advisor, author, and speaker Steven Kuhn and his partner, Olga. Steven and Olga are both powerful individuals and together they’re making a difference by uplifting others to a higher frequency.
In this episode, we discuss how we can navigate the journey of finding ourselves and owning our identity. Meet Steven:
Steven Kuhn is a business advisor, author, and speaker who has been hand-picked to consult with some of the most influential people in the world (rock stars, singers, actors, business leaders, and politicians) about how to build value and loyalty and develop strategies for increasing beneficial relationships and achieving true Quality of Life (QOL).
Steven hails from Pennsylvania USA and served in the U.S. Army from 1986 -1993 in Germany and one tour as a Sergeant in Iraq.
