There is often a void that gets left behind when the ones we love are no longer with us.
Sometimes the hole can be so deep we drown under the pressure of it all. How can we possibly move on?
I’ll be the first to say how important the grieving process is. How ever you choose to mourn is up to you. It’s also necessary for our health and the honor of the relationship we once had.
With that being said, we still owe it to those who have passed to live a life worth sharing with them when we see them again. We need to keep pushing forward.
Moving on and building towards a future can be so hard when you’re still under the weight of all that grief. The motivation to do anything is gone and the smallest tasks take the most energy.
Like so many of us, our guest today Jeremy Krauze has felt the pain of loss. First in the suicide of his best friend, and again in the death of his father. Both within months of each other.
How do you get through something like that?
Speaking with Jeremy, we learn that there are a number of lifejackets you can pack now to help you find your way back to the surface. A love of community, friends, and a commitment to something bigger than himself would help Jeremy honor his friends and his father with progress. Three years later we join Jeremy as he gets ready to open his new restaurant & bar in the heart of downtown Greenville: Society Sandwich Bar & Social Club
Join us as Tim Pecoraro, Jonathan Parker, and I sit down with Jeremy Krauze and discuss how to push forward after loss and create a wonderful life for those who are no longer with us.
This episode would not be possible without the talented eye of Elias Jose Falero of Falero Studios and the continued commitment of Andrej Suttles of Suttlesolution Media.
